There is often no margin for error with setting-out, with only short time-windows available to the setting-out engineer. We are able to deploy our engineers at short notice and help you achieve a cost-effective result.

Skye Survey are able to provide engineering survey and site setting out support on jobs of any size, from small buildings to complex civil engineering projects. The approach to setting out fundamentally utilises the same method as surveying but in reverse: points yet to be constructed are marked on the ground, paying meticulous care with respect to their horizontal and vertical origins.
We are able to oversee projects from beginning to end as part of a full ‘turnkey’ service, from an initial planning stage where will will provide the topographical land survey, to finally setting out the construction, which may include foundations, piles, masonry, drainage, utilities, site roads and accesses. Alternatively, we can assist with the construction setting out at any stage of a development on an ‘ad-hoc’ basis.
